School closure…

BARCLAY CHILDREN CENTRE NOTICE TO ALL FAMILIES

Barclay School & Children Centre will be closed on Wednesday November 30th Due to industrial action taken by members of staff.

In response to Governments decision to cut public sector pensions, a large number of staff have decided to go on strike. Although, we have looked at different ways of keeping the school and Children Centre open, it was felt that the health and safety of the children and families and adults using our services would be compromised. Consequently we have been left with no other option, but to close the children centre for the day.

Yours Sincerely

Robin Thompson- ClarkeChair of Governors
